Liz (of ‘Jarod and Liz productions’) often takes to the streets armed with a camera and looking for cats. Not wanting to seem crazy, friendly miaows was born to create a legitimate excuse for her behaviour. Liz wanted a simple template that focused on the images themselves, with little clutter. We used the pre-built Thesis Wordpress theme, and altered the layout to suit Liz’s vision.

We were approached by Liz’s long-time friend Emma to take photos at her wedding to Ben. We did not hesitate to say yes, despite not having covered a wedding before, and spent a wonderful day with them on the 8th of November, 2008.

Considering the amount of travellers to the wedding, we offered to put the photos online so that all of their guests could view the photos easily.

We were approached to take live photos of Manchoir while shooting at the Parramatta Comedy Store opening gala in 2008.

Eric Hutton, Shane Matheson and Oliver Phommavanh joined forces to create a show called ‘The Zinger Machine’ for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2008. They had ideas about how they wanted their poster to look, and asked us to help them create it.

We met with them on multiple occasions, both for photoshoots and creating the final poster design.

In years past, Liz volunteered for FasterLouder.com.au – an Australian online music community. The Mess Hall at the Annandale was one of the many gigs she was assigned to. This image was also selected by FasterLouder for their Australia Day exhibition in 2008 as well as being re-printed for use in a FasterLouder competition.

Jarod takes photos of LEGO minifigs in various poses. The most popular of these was a set of 17 photos commemorating the 2008 Beijing Olypmics.

In July 2009 we were approached by the Cat Protection Society in Newtown to produce some designs for a possible new t-shirt line. This design, entitled ‘Heart’, was one of the designs submitted. The t-shirt, along with others designed, is currently being sold through the Cat Protection Society.

Many many years ago (2002) Jarod designed & co-managed the All Chrysler Day of NSW’s website. It features a basic news content management system and a fancy rotating image in the header.
